The African American Alliance is dedicated to the preservation and conservation of the cultural, historical, and architectural African American heritage of Coweta County. The Alliance operates the Coweta County Heritage Museum and Research Center at 92 Farmer Street. The Newnan Coweta Historical Society is charged with preserving the community’s rich heritage.
The Newnan Coweta Historical Society maintains the Male Academy Museum at 30 Temple Avenue and the historic Railroad Depot at 60 East Broad Street. Additional tourist information can be found at the Coweta County Convention and Visitors Bureau, located at the Historic 1904 Courthouse.
