Piedmont Newnan Hospital is a 143-bed JCAHO-licensed, private, non-profit facility, serving Coweta County and the surrounding communities.

Additionally, Newnan has approximately 125 primary care and specialty physicians and surgeons to meet the clinical needs of children, adults, and seniors of the community. As part of its services, Newnan Hospital offers a 24-hour emergency department; Same-Day Surgery; 12-bed Intensive-Coronary Care Unit; CT Scan, PET Scan, and an Open MRI; Obstetrics; and Pediatrics.

Other Assistance includes the Health and Fitness Center, Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Wound Treatment Center, Sleep Center, and Employee Assistance Program.

Piedmont Newnan Hospital remains at the forefront of technology by combining its unique tradition of caring with quality healthcare services. Piedmont Healthcare purchased Newnan Hospital in 2007.

Newnan is also home to the Cancer Treatment Centers of America facility for the southeast region of the United States. They are fighting the fight against cancer.
