Best practice is the gold standard of protection. Transport a child based on the child's:

• Age
• Weight
• Height
• Development levels

About the CPS Technicians

CPS technician role is to teach and educate the caregiver about the proper selection, installation and use of car seats and booster seats and proper use of seat belts.

CPS Technicians do not Install Child Safety Seats or Booster Seats.

The caregiver will have the final decision based on best practices you provide. The caregiver will install the safety seats and booster seats.

Remember that child safety seats and booster do expire after so many years so please look for your expiration date on your child safety seat and booster seat.

"Best Practice" Children should ride in rear-facing seats as long as possible.
