Law Enforcement Explorer Program

The program provides real-life experiences in law enforcement and helps students ages 14 to 20 learn more about the Criminal Justice System. The program is designed to improve self-confidence, hone leadership skills, and foster teamwork. This hands-on experience helps prepare students for policing career opportunities.

Participants must have completed the eighth (8) grade) and must be under the age of 20 years old.  All persons 17 years and older must agree to a background check conducted by the Newnan Police Department.  Permission to participate is required for all persons 14 to 17 years old and a parent/guardian signature must be obtained.
