The Newnan Police Department responded to the area of Dodson Street and Milton Avenue at 5:08 pm on Sunday, September 12, 2022 in reference to a physical altercation. Upon arrival police located a male victim with what appeared to be lacerations to the head. Based on the victim and witness information received, police were able to locate the offender and he is now in custody. The victim was transported by life flight to an Atlanta area hospital for medical treatment.
