The new City of Newnan Ordinance pertaining to distilled spirits package sales licenses, view the Ordinance Distilled Spirits 8.24.21 (PDF). Please note that this ordinance is an amendment to the existing Chapter 3 Alcoholic Beverages ordinance and adds provisions for package sales. The entire Alcoholic Beverages ordinance (Part II, Chapter 3) applies to this license type also. Please read the ordinance very carefully as there are very specific requirements related to this type of license.

The application for a Distilled Package Sales License must be completed in its entirety and submitted to the City of Newnan Licensing Office for processing. The application must include a non-refundable $500 processing fee, as well as all the noted affidavits and attachments required for processing. This may include building leases, plans, notarized affidavits, background checks, and owner information, to name a few. This license is also subject to annual renewal with the City of Newnan. Please note that this same application can be used for changes to an existing distilled package sales license also if they are the owner or for other changes to an existing license.
