The City of Newnan today received a donation of medical apparatus from Mobility Plus, a local company specializing in mobility equipment. The City received a Raizer II, a mobile lifting chair "that helps people who have fallen on the floor." The Raizer II is designed to promote the safety of the person who has fallen, as well as the responding fire personnel. Fire Chief Stephen Brown noted, "We are incredibly thankful for this new piece of equipment, which will help us respond to calls safely and efficiently."
