Abigail Strickland is the Main Street Manager and Newnan Downtown Development Authority Staff Liaison for the City of Newnan. She has worked for the City of Newnan since October of 2017. Abigail also serves on the Georgia Downtown Association Board and is a member of Georgia Forward’s 2023 Young Gamechangers program.  With a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Grand Canyon University and extensive background in customer service and management, Abigail believes understanding human behavior is relatable in every professional aspect. As a Newnan Native, Abigail takes pride in ensuring the downtown district is vibrant and accessible for all. Abigail enjoys traveling, cooking, and working on home projects in her free time.
