The City of Newnan seeks to expand the LINC trail system to Newnan High School and the Newnan Utilities Carl Miller Park. The LINC Phase 13 project is being built within public right-of-way and on city easement within the Board of Education and Newnan Utilities properties. The Phase 13 project is a approximately 6,054 linear feet (1.15 miles) and includes a 10’ to 12’ wide concrete trail, landscape, stormwater improvements, road width and parking reconfigurations, along with bridge structures and retaining walls. Additional work associated with the project includes minor demolition and clearing, erosion control, grading, trail amenities, and signage.
