1. May I burn in the city?: Only with a Burn Permit issued from the Fire Marshal. Call 770-253-1851, ext. 302.

3. When is the burn ban?: For burn permits and notifications visit the Georgia Forestry Commission website.

4. How many fire extinguishers should I have available?: At least 2 fire extinguishers should be within reaching distance if cooking.

5. What are the guidelines for hanging a fire extinguisher?: Per the ADA regulations, fire extinguishers should hang 48 inches to the top of the extinguishers’ handle.
