Beginning January 1, 2023 The City of Newnan has contracted with Amwaste to provide weekly garbage and recycling for residents within the City Limits of Newnan.

Holiday Schedule Service

Should a collection day fall on or after a holiday, services will be delayed one day for the holiday week.  If a collection day is before a holiday, service days will not be impacted.  

Example: If Christmas Day is on a Tuesday, the Monday route will run as normal.  All other days will run one day later. 

Observed holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
